Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed us, Shu'ba and Hajjaj - Hajjaj said: Shu'ba told me - who said: I heard Ma'bad ibn Khalid narrating from Zayd ibn Uqba, from Samura ibn Jundab, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite at the two Eid prayers "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of the Overwhelming Event."
