حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَن سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَن أَبِيهِ عَن جَدِّهِ قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا مُوسَى وَمُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ لَهُمَا يَسِّرَا وَلَا تُعَسِّرَا وَبَشِّرَا وَلَا تُنَفِّرَا وَتَطَاوَعَا قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ يُصْنَعُ فِيهَا شَرَابٌ مِنْ الْعَسَلِ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْبِتْعُ وَشَرَابٌ مِنْ الشَّعِيرِ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْمِزْرُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Burdah, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Abu Musa and Mu'adh ibn Jabal to Yemen, and said to them, "Make things easy, do not make them difficult; give glad tidings, do not repel; and cooperate with each other." Abu Musa said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land where a drink is made from honey called al-bit', and a drink from barley called al-mizr." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Every intoxicant is unlawful."
