Abu Mu'awiya told us: al-A'mash told us, from Shaqiq, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about a man who fights out of bravery, and one who fights out of tribal zeal, and one who fights to be seen - which of these is in the way of Allah Almighty? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is uppermost, he is in the way of Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
