Affan told us: Hammad - that is Ibn Salama - told us: Thabit informed us, from someone who heard Hittan b. Abdullah al-Raqashi, who said: Abu Musa said: I said to a companion of mine, "Come, let us devote this day of ours to Allah, Mighty and Majestic." And it was as though we had witnessed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said, "And among them is one who says, 'Come, let us devote this day of ours to Allah, Mighty and Majestic'" - and he kept repeating it until I wished I could sink into the earth.
