حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ ذَكَرْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدِيثًا حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى فِي لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ حَرَّمَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَتَّةَ.

Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan informed us, from Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: I mentioned to Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud] a hadith that Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa had narrated to me about the meat of domestic donkeys. Sa'id said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it absolutely.
