Waki' told us: Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid told us, from Hakim ibn Jabir, from his father, who said: I entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his house, and I saw gourd/squash with him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is this?" He said, "This is gourd; we increase our food with it."
