حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هِنْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حَرْمَلَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَجَجْتُ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ مُرْدِفِي عَمِّي سِنَانُ بْنُ سَنَّةَ قَالَ فَلَمَّا وَقَفْنَا بِعَرَفَاتٍ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا إِحْدَى أُصْبُعَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فَقُلْتُ لِعَمِّي مَاذَا يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ ارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us, Wuhayb told us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmala told us, from Yahya ibn Hind, that he heard Harmala ibn Amr - who was Abu Abd al-Rahman - say: I performed the Farewell Pilgrimage riding behind my uncle Sinan ibn Sanna. He said: When we stood at Arafat, I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, placing one of his fingers upon the other, so I said to my uncle, "What is the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying?" He said, "He is saying: Throw the pebbles at the Jamra like the size of pebbles used for flicking."
