حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَنَّةَ صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الطَّاعِمُ الشَّاكِرُ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ الصَّابِرِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَاه أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ مِثْلَهُ.

Harun bin Ma'ruf told us. Abu Abdul Rahman said: And I also heard it from Harun: Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad told us: Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abi Hurrah informed me, from his uncle Hakim bin Abi Hurrah, from Sinan bin Sannah, a companion of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The grateful eater has a reward like that of the patient fasting person." Abdullah told us: Ahmad bin Hatim al-Tawil told it to us: Abdul Aziz al-Darawardi told us, similarly.
