حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَسَمِعَ مُؤَذِّنًا يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَجِدُونَهُ رَاعِيَ غَنَمٍ أَوْ عَازِبًا عَنْ أَهْلِهِ فَلَمَّا هَبَطَ الْوَادِي قَالَ مَرَّ عَلَى سَخْلَةٍ مَنْبُوذَةٍ فَقَالَ أَتَرَوْنَ هَذِهِ هَيِّنَةً عَلَى أَهْلِهَا لَلدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us, he said: Shu'ba narrated to us from al-Hakam, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Abdullah ibn Rabi'a al-Sulami, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was on a journey, and he heard a caller to prayer saying, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." He (the caller) said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I bear witness that I am Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "You will find him (later) a shepherd of sheep or one withdrawn from his family." When he descended into the valley, he passed by a discarded young kid, and he said, "Do you see how insignificant this is to its owners? This world is more insignificant to Allah than this is to its owners."
