حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَجِبْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِ كُلَّهُ لَهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ كَانَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ خَيْرًا وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ فَصَبَرَ كَانَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ خَيْرًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bahz and Hajjaj narrated to us, they said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Suhayb, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am amazed at the affair of the believer; indeed the affair of the believer is all good for him, and that is the case for no one but the believer: if something pleasing befalls him, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and if something harmful befalls him, he is patient, and that is good for him."
