حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ كَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِذَاءَ أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ حِينَ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ حِينَ قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ مُمْسِكًا يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ حَلَّقَ بِالْوُسْطَى وَالْإِبْهَامِ وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn al-Walid told us: Sufyan told me, from Asim ibn Kulayb, from his father, from Wa'il ibn Hujr, who said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): when he said the takbir he raised his hands level with his ears; then when he bowed; then when he said "Allah hears whoever praises Him" he raised his hands; and I saw him holding his right hand over his left in prayer. When he sat, he made a ring with his middle finger and thumb, pointed with his index finger, and placed his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh.
