حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ وَائِلَ بْنَ حُجْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيَّ أخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَأَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي قَالَ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ قَامَ فَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى حَاذَتَا أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى ظَهْرِ كَفِّهِ الْيُسْرَى وَالرُّسْغِ وَالسَّاعِدِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلَهَا وَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلَهَا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَجَعَلَ كَفَّيْهِ بِحِذَاءِ أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ فَافْتَرَشَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى فَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ وَرُكْبَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَجَعَلَ حَدَّ مِرْفَقِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ قَبَضَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ فَحَلَّقَ حَلْقَةً ثُمَّ رَفَعَ إِصْبَعَهُ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُحَرِّكُهَا يَدْعُو بِهَا ثُمَّ جِئْتُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي زَمَانٍ فِيهِ بَرْدٌ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهِمْ الثِّيَابُ تُحَرَّكُ أَيْدِيهِمْ مِنْ تَحْتِ الثِّيَابِ مِنْ الْبَرْدِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Samad told us: Za'idah told us: Asim ibn Kulayb told us: my father informed me that Wa'il ibn Hujr al-Hadrami informed him, saying: I said: "I will surely watch the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to see how he prays." He said: So I watched him; he stood, said the takbir, and raised his hands until they were level with his ears; then he placed his right hand on the back of his left hand, wrist, and forearm. He said: Then, when he wished to bow, he raised his hands likewise, and placed his hands on his knees; then he raised his head, raising his hands likewise; then he prostrated, placing his palms level with his ears; then he sat, spreading out his left foot, placing his left palm on his thigh and left knee, and placing the edge of his right elbow on his right thigh; then he closed his fingers, forming a ring, then raised his index finger - I saw him move it, supplicating with it. Then I came afterward, at a time when it was cold, and I saw the people wearing garments, moving their hands beneath their garments because of the cold.
