حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ وَالْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ أَتَى قَوْمٌ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالُوا مَا تَرَى فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ أُرَاهُ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ فَقَالَ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي رُؤَاسٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا بِرْوَعُ بِنْتُ وَاشِقٍ فَخَرَجَ مَخْرَجًا فَدَخَلَ فِي بِئْرٍ فَأَسِنَ فَمَاتَ وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا صَدَاقًا فَأَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كَمَهْرِ نِسَائِهَا لَا وَكْسَ وَلَا شَطَطَ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id told us: Za'ida told us: Mansur told us, from Ibrahim, from Alqama and al-Aswad, who said: Some people came to Abdullah, meaning Ibn Mas'ud, and said, "What do you say about a man who married a woman..." and he mentioned the hadith. He said: A man from Ashja' - Mansur said: I think it was Salama b. Yazid - said, "In a case like this the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave judgment: a man from among us married a woman from Banu Ru'as called Birwa bint Washiq. He went out on a journey and fell into a well and lingered there and died, without having fixed a dower for her. So they came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, 'She shall have the dower of women like her, with neither reduction nor excess, and she has the inheritance, and she must observe the waiting period.'"
