حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ ذِي مِخْمَرٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ سَتُصَالِحُكُمْ الرُّومُ صُلْحًا آمِنًا ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ وَهُمْ عَدُوًّا فَتُنْصَرُونَ وَتَسْلَمُونَ وَتَغْنَمُونَ ثُمَّ تَنْصُرُونَ الرُّومَ حَتَّى تَنْزِلُوا بِمَرْجٍ ذِي تُلُولٍ فَيَرْفَعُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ صَلِيبًا فَيَقُولُ غَلَبَ الصَّلِيبُ فَيَغْضَبُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهِ فَيَدُقُّهُ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يَغْدِرُ الرُّومُ وَيَجْمَعُونَ لِلْمَلْحَمَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us: al-Awza'i told us, from Hassan ibn Atiyyah, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, from Dhu Mikhmar, a man among the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The Byzantines will make a secure peace with you; then you will fight together against a common enemy, and you will be granted victory, safety, and spoils; then you will help the Byzantines until you camp at a meadow with hillocks. Then a man of the Christians will raise a cross and say: The cross has prevailed. Then a man of the Muslims will grow angry and go to him and smash it. At that point, the Byzantines will betray their pact and gather for the great battle.
