حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ بَعْضِ بَنِي رَافِعِ بْنِ مَكِيثٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ مَكِيثٍ وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ نَمَاءٌ وَسُوءُ الْخُلُقِ شُؤْمٌ وَالْبِرُّ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَالصَّدَقَةُ تَمْنَعُ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Razzaq told us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from 'Uthman ibn Zufar, from some of the sons of Rafi' ibn Makith, from Rafi' ibn Makith — who was among those who witnessed al-Hudaybiyah — that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Good character is growth, and bad character is misfortune, and righteousness increases lifespan, and charity prevents an evil death."
