It was narrated that Hadrat Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq said: One day the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) got up and prayed Fajr, then he sat until the forenoon, then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) smiled. Then he sat where he was until he had prayed Zuhr, 'Asr and Maghrib, and he did not speak until he had prayed 'isha'. Then he got up and went to his family. The people said to Hadrat Abu Bakr: Why don't you ask the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) what is the matter? He did something today that he never did before. So he asked him and he said: `Yes, I was shown what is to come of this world and the Hereafter. The earlier and later generations were gathered in one place and the people got terrified because of that. They went to Adam (upon him be peace) when the sweat was about to reach their mouths, and they said: O Adam, you are the father of mankind and Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, chose you. Intercede for us with your Lord, He said: I am in the same position as you. Go to your father after your father, to Nooh, “Allah chose Adam, Nooh (Noah (upon him be peace)), the family of Ibraheem (Abraham (upon him be peace)) and the family of 'Imran above the 'Alameen (mankind and jinn) (of their times)` (Al 'Imran 3:33}.
Then they will go to Nooh and will say: Intercede with your Lord for us, for Allah chose you and answered your supplication, and He did not leave one of the disbelievers on the Earth (cf. 71:26). He will say: I am not the one you want; go to Ibraheem for Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, took him as a close friend (khaleel). So they will go to Ibraheem but he will say: I am not the one you want; go to Moosa, for Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, spoke directly to him (cf. 4:164). But Moosa will say: I am not the one you want; go to 'Eesa Ibn Maryam, for he healed those born blind and the lepers, and he brought forth the dead. But 'Eesa will say: I am not the one you want; go to the leader of the sons of Adam, for he is the first one for whom the earth is split on the Day of Resurrection. Go to Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), for he will intercede for you with your Lord, may He be glorified and exalted. Then (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) will go and Jibreel will come to his Lord and Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Give him permission and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. Jibreel will take him and he will fall down in prostration for a week. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Raise your head, O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him); speak and you will be heard, intercede and your intercession will be accepted. So he will raise his head, and when he looks at his Lord, may He be glorified and exalted, he will fall down in prostration for another week. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Raise your head, O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him); speak and you will be heard, intercede and your intersession will be accepted. He will start to fall down in prostration again, but Jibreel (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) will take hold of his upper arms and Allah, may he be glorified and exalted, will inspire him to offer a supplication such as no human being was ever inspired with. He will say: `O Lord, You created me as the leader of the sons of Adam, and no boast; the first one for whom the earth is split on the Day of Resurrection, and no boast; there will come to my Cistern more people than there can be between San‘a’ and Allah (Eilat).` Then it will be said: Call the Siddeeq's so that they might intercede. Then it will be said: Call the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)s. So one Prophet will come with a group, and another Prophet will come with five or six people, and another Prophet will come with nobody. Then it will be said: Call the martyrs so that they might intercede for whoever they want. When the martyrs do that, Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: I am the Most Merciful of those who show mercy; I admit to My Paradise anyone who does not associate anything with Me.
So they will enter Paradise. Then Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Look in Hell; can you find anyone who ever did anything good? And they will find a man in Hell, and He will say to him: Did you ever do anything good? He will say: No, except that I was easy-going with people in buying and selling. And Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Be easy-going with My slave as he was easygoing with My slaves. Then they will bring a man out of Hell and He will say to him: Did you ever do anything good? He will say: No, except that l instructed my sons: When I die, burn me with fire, then grind me until I am like kohl powder. Then take me to the sea and scatter me in the wind, for by Allah the Lord of the Worlds will never be able to punish me. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Why did you do that? He will say: For fear of You. And Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: Look at the kingdom of the greatest king and you will have the like thereof and ten times as much. He will say: Are You making fun of me when You are the Sovereign? He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: “That is what I was smiling at, at the time of the foremoon.`
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم صبح کو اٹھے اور فجر کی نماز پڑھی پھر بیٹھ گئے یہاں تک کہ چاشت کا وقت ہوا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسکرائے۔ پھر اپنی جگہ پر بیٹھے رہے یہاں تک کہ ظہر، عصر اور مغرب کی نماز پڑھی، اس دوران کچھ نہیں بولے یہاں تک کہ عشاء کی نماز پڑھی، پھر اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس تشریف لے گئے۔ لوگوں نے حضرت ابو بکر سے کہا: کیا آپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے نہیں پوچھتے کہ آج کیا بات تھی، آپ نے ایسا کام کیا جو کبھی نہیں کیا۔ انہوں نے دریافت کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، مجھ پر دنیا اور آخرت کے تمام حالات پیش کیے گئے۔ اگلے اور پچھلے سب لوگ ایک میدان میں جمع کیے گئے۔ لوگ گھبرا گئے یہاں تک کہ وہ حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کے پاس گئے اور پسینہ انہیں ڈبونے لگا۔ انہوں نے کہا: اے آدم! آپ انسانوں کے باپ ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو چنا، اپنے رب سے ہماری شفاعت کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا: مجھ پر بھی وہی حالت آئی ہے جو تم پر آئی ہے، اپنے باپ کے بعد والے باپ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کے پاس جاؤ۔ بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ نے آدم، نوح، آل ابراہیم اور آل عمران کو تمام جہانوں پر فضیلت دی۔ وہ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کے پاس جائیں گے اور کہیں گے: اپنے رب سے ہماری شفاعت کریں، اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو چنا اور آپ کی دعا قبول فرمائی اور زمین پر کسی کافر کو نہیں چھوڑا۔ وہ کہیں گے: یہ میرے پاس نہیں، حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس جاؤ کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں خلیل بنایا۔ وہ حضرت ابراہیم کے پاس جائیں گے تو وہ کہیں گے: یہ میرے پاس نہیں، حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس جاؤ کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان سے کلام کیا۔ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کہیں گے: یہ میرے پاس نہیں، حضرت عیسیٰ بن مریم کے پاس جاؤ، وہ پیدائشی اندھوں اور کوڑھیوں کو شفا دیتے ہیں اور مردوں کو زندہ کرتے ہیں۔ حضرت عیسیٰ کہیں گے: یہ میرے پاس نہیں، اولاد آدم کے سردار کے پاس جاؤ، وہ پہلے ہیں جن کے لیے قیامت کے دن زمین پھٹے گی، حضرت محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس جاؤ، وہ تمہارے رب سے شفاعت کریں گے۔ پھر جبریل علیہ السلام اپنے رب کے پاس آئیں گے، اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: انہیں اجازت دو اور جنت کی خوشخبری دو۔ جبریل انہیں لے جائیں گے اور وہ ایک جمعہ کے برابر سجدے میں گر جائیں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: اے محمد! اپنا سر اٹھاؤ، کہو سنا جائے گا، شفاعت کرو قبول ہو گی۔ وہ سر اٹھائیں گے، جب اپنے رب کو دیکھیں گے تو پھر ایک جمعہ کے برابر سجدے میں گر جائیں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: سر اٹھاؤ، کہو سنا جائے گا، شفاعت کرو قبول ہو گی۔ جب وہ سجدے میں جانے لگیں گے تو جبریل علیہ السلام ان کی بازوؤں سے پکڑ لیں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر دعا کے ایسے دروازے کھولے گا جو کسی انسان پر کبھی نہیں کھولے۔ وہ عرض کریں گے: اے میرے رب! تو نے مجھے اولاد آدم کا سردار بنایا اور کوئی فخر نہیں، اور قیامت کے دن سب سے پہلے میرے لیے زمین پھٹے گی اور کوئی فخر نہیں، یہاں تک کہ میرے حوض پر صنعاء اور ایلہ کے درمیان سے زیادہ لوگ آئیں گے۔ پھر کہا جائے گا: صدیقین کو بلاؤ تو وہ شفاعت کریں گے۔ پھر کہا جائے گا: انبیاء کو بلاؤ، تو ایک نبی اپنے ساتھ ایک جماعت لے کر آئیں گے، ایک نبی پانچ چھ لوگوں کے ساتھ اور ایک نبی جن کے ساتھ کوئی نہیں۔ پھر کہا جائے گا: شہداء کو بلاؤ تو وہ جن کے لیے چاہیں شفاعت کریں گے۔ جب شہداء یہ کر لیں گے تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہوں، جس نے میرے ساتھ شرک نہیں کیا اسے میری جنت میں داخل کرو۔ وہ جنت میں داخل ہو جائیں گے۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: جہنم میں دیکھو کیا کوئی ایسا ملتا ہے جس نے کبھی کوئی نیکی کی ہو۔ تو وہ جہنم میں ایک آدمی پائیں گے، اس سے کہا جائے گا: کیا تم نے کبھی کوئی نیکی کی؟ وہ کہے گا: نہیں، سوائے اس کے کہ میں لوگوں سے خرید و فروخت میں نرمی کرتا تھا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: میرے بندے کے ساتھ ویسا ہی نرم کرو جیسا وہ میرے بندوں کے ساتھ نرم تھا۔ پھر جہنم سے ایک آدمی نکالیں گے اور اس سے کہا جائے گا: کیا تم نے کبھی کوئی نیکی کی؟ وہ کہے گا: نہیں، سوائے اس کے کہ میں نے اپنے بیٹوں کو حکم دیا تھا کہ جب میں مر جاؤں تو مجھے جلا دینا پھر پیس دینا یہاں تک کہ سرمے کی طرح ہو جاؤں، پھر سمندر میں لے جا کر ہوا میں اڑا دینا، اللہ کی قسم! رب العالمین مجھ پر قابو نہیں پا سکے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: تم نے یہ کیوں کیا؟ وہ کہے گا: تیرے خوف سے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: سب سے بڑے بادشاہ کی سلطنت دیکھو، تمہارے لیے اس جیسی اور اس کے دس گنا ہے۔ وہ کہے گا: کیا تو مجھ سے مذاق کر رہا ہے جبکہ تو بادشاہ ہے؟ اور یہ وہ بات تھی جس پر میں چاشت کے وقت مسکرایا تھا۔
