Hasan told us, Zuhayr told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: Sa'd ibn Mu'adh was struck by an arrow in his vein, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized it with his own hand using an arrowhead. He said: Then it swelled again. He said: So he cauterized it a second time.
