حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ بَلَغَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ فَبَاعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَبْدَ بِثَمَانِ مِائَةٍ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَى مَوَالِيهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us, Isma'il told us, from Salama ibn Kuhayl, from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Jabir, who said: It reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that a man among his companions had freed a slave of his to take effect after his death, and he had no property besides him. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sold the slave for eight hundred and gave it to his master.
