حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا فَقُلْتُ الضَّبُعَ آكُلُهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ أَسَمِعْتَ ذَاكَ مِنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya told us, from Ibn Jurayj: Abdullah ibn Ubayd ibn Umayr informed me that Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Ammar informed him, who said: I asked Jabir, saying: "The hyena - may I eat it?" He said: "Yes." I said: "Is it game?" He said: "Yes." I said: "Did you hear that from the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: "Yes."
