حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ جِيءَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ ثَغَامَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِشَيْءٍ وَجَنِّبُوهُ السَّوَادَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Isma'il told us: Layth informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: Abu Quhafah was brought on the Day of the Conquest to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his head was as if it were thagham (a white-flowered plant, referring to his white hair), so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Take him to one of his womenfolk so she may change it with something, and avoid black dye."
