The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) fell from his horse and his right side was scraped. We went to visit him. The time for prayer came, and he led us in prayer while sitting, and we prayed behind him sitting. When he finished, he said: 'The imam is appointed to be followed: when he says Allahu Akbar, say Allahu Akbar; when he bows, bow; when he raises his head, raise yours; and when he says Sami' Allahu liman hamidah, say Rabbana lakal-hamd; and when he prays sitting, pray sitting — all of you.'
