حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ الْعَضْبَاءَ كَانَتْ لَا تُسْبَقُ فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ عَلَى قَعُودٍ لَهُ فَسَابَقَهَا فَسَبَقَهَا الْأَعْرَابِيُّ فَكَأَنَّ ذَلِكَ اشْتَدَّ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ لَا يَرْفَعَ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا وَضَعَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us: Hammad told us: Thabit informed us, from Anas ibn Malik, that al-Adba (the Prophet's she-camel) was never outrun, but a Bedouin came on a young camel of his and raced her, and the Bedouin outran her. This seemed hard upon the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is a right upon Allah, Mighty and Sublime, that He does not raise up anything of this world without bringing it down."
