حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأَسْعَى فِي الْغِلْمَانِ يَقُولُونَ جَاءَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَأَسْعَى فَلَا أَرَى شَيْئًا ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ جَاءَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَأَسْعَى فَلَا أَرَى شَيْئًا قَالَ حَتَّى جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَاحِبُهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَكُنَّا فِي بَعْضِ حِرَارِ الْمَدِينَةِ ثُمَّ بَعَثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لِيُؤْذِنَ بِهِمَا الْأَنْصَارَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُمَا زُهَاءَ خَمْسِ مِائَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ حَتَّى انْتَهَوْا إِلَيْهِمَا فَقَالَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ انْطَلِقَا آمِنَيْنِ مُطَاعَيْنِ فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَاحِبُهُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ فَخَرَجَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى إِنَّ الْعَوَاتِقَ لَفَوْقَ الْبُيُوتِ يَتَرَاءَيْنَهُ يَقُلْنَ أَيُّهُمْ هُوَ أَيُّهُمْ هُوَ قَالَ فَمَا رَأَيْنَا مَنْظَرًا مُشْبِهًا بِهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَوْمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَوْمَ قُبِضَ فَلَمْ أَرَ يَوْمَيْنِ مُشْبِهًا بِهِمَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim told us: Sulayman told us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I used to run among the boys who would say, Muhammad has come, so I would run but see nothing; then they would say, Muhammad has come, again, so I would run but see nothing. He said: Until the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came, and his companion Abu Bakr, and we were among some of the stony tracts of Madinah. Then a man from the people of Madinah sent to inform the Ansar of them, and about five hundred of the Ansar came to meet them, until they reached them, and the Ansar said: Go on, both of you, safe and obeyed. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companion advanced among them, and the people of Madinah came out, until the unmarried young women were up on the rooftops, looking at him, saying: Which of them is he? Which of them is he? He said: We never saw a sight resembling it that day. Anas ibn Malik said: And I saw him the day he entered among us and the day he passed away, and I never saw two days resembling each other more than those two.
