حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ أَنَسٌ مَا شَمِمْتُ شَيْئًا عَنْبَرًا قَطُّ وَلَا مِسْكًا قَطُّ وَلَا شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا مَسِسْتُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ دِيبَاجًا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مَسًّا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَابِتٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ أَلَسْتَ كَأَنَّكَ تَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَأَنَّكَ تَسْمَعُ إِلَى نَغَمَتِهِ فَقَالَ بَلَى وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَقُولَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خُوَيْدِمُكَ قَالَ خَدَمْتُهُ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ لَيْسَ كُلُّ أَمْرِي كَمَا يَشْتَهِي صَاحِبِي أَنْ يَكُونَ مَا قَالَ لِي فِيهَا أُفٍّ وَلَا قَالَ لِي لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا وَأَلَّا فَعَلْتَ هَذَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim told us: Sulayman told us: Thabit informed us: Anas said: I have never smelled any amber, nor any musk, nor anything at all more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; nor have I touched any brocade or silk softer to the touch than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Thabit said: I said, O Abu Hamza, is it not as if you are looking at the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and as if you are hearing his voice? He said: Indeed, by Allah, I hope to meet him on the Day of Resurrection and say: O Messenger of Allah, your little servant! He said: I served him ten years in Madinah while I was a boy; not all my affairs were as my master would wish, yet he never said to me, uff, nor did he ever say to me, Why did you do this, or, Why did you not do that.
