Yazid ibn Harun told us: Humayd told us, from Anas ibn Malik — he was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, have a signet ring made?" He said, "Yes. One night he delayed the night prayer until midnight, then prayed it. When he finished praying, he turned his face to them and said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have remained in prayer ever since you began waiting for the prayer.'" He said, "It is as if I can still see the gleam of his ring."
