حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مُرَّ بِجِنَازَةٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَثْنُوا عَلَيْهَا فَقَالُوا كَانَ مَا عَلِمْنَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَأَثْنَوْا عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا فَقَالَ وَجَبَتْ ثُمَّ مُرَّ عَلَيْهِ بِجِنَازَةٍ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ أَثْنُوا عَلَيْهَا فَقَالُوا بِئْسَ الْمَرْءُ كَانَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ وَجَبَتْ أَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar told us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said, "A funeral bier passed by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, 'Praise him.' They said, 'As far as we knew, he loved Allah and His Messenger,' and they praised him with good words. He said, 'It is assured.' Then another funeral bier passed by him, and he said, 'Praise him.' They said, 'He was an evil man in the religion of Allah.' He said, 'It is assured. You are the witnesses of Allah on earth.'"
