Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when residing, would make i'tikaf during the last ten nights of Ramadan, and when he traveled, he would make i'tikaf for twenty nights the following year. My father said: I did not hear this hadith except from Ibn Abi Adiyy, from Humayd, from Anas.
