حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهَا حَتَّى يُقْضَى دَفْنُهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ أَصْغَرُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فَتَعَاظَمَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ صَدَقَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَقَدْ فَرَّطْنَا فِي قَرَارِيطَ كَثِيرَةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid told us, he said: and Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever prays over a funeral has one qirat, and whoever follows it until its burial is completed has two qirats, the smaller of which is like Uhud." Abu Salamah said: I mentioned this to Ibn Umar, and he found it hard to believe, so he sent to Aisha, and she said: "Abu Hurayrah has spoken truly." Ibn Umar then said: "We have indeed neglected many qirats."
