حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ حَسَا سُمًّا فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Asma bint Umays (may Allah be well pleased with her) states that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked her: What do you use as a laxative? She submitted: Shubrum (a plant). He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: It is hot and strong. She then submitted: Senna. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: If anything had the power to cure death, senna would have cured it — or he said — there is healing in senna from everything except death.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اسماء بنت عمیس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سے پوچھا: تم دست لانے کے لیے (جلاب) کیا استعمال کرتی ہو؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: شبرم۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: گرم اور سخت ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے عرض کیا: سنا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اگر کوئی چیز موت سے شفاء دیتی تو سنا شفاء دیتی۔ یا فرمایا: سنا میں شفاء ہے موت کے سوا ہر چیز سے۔
