English Translation
'Abdullah said: I came to Abu Jahl on the Day of Badr while he was struck down. I struck him with a sword but it did not cut. Then I took his own sword and struck him with it. I struck his leg and it flew off with its shin-guard. Abu Jahl said: "You are a shepherd, a lowly shepherd!" Then I cut off his head and brought it to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He said: "Allah is Great! All praise is due to Allah who has fulfilled His promise to His Messenger." — or words similar to that.
