Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9981 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُقَدَّمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عَمِّي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ بِلَالًا يُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ ثُمَّ أَنْصَرِفَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ النِّدَاءَ فَلَا يُجِيبُونَ فَأَحْرِقَ عَلَيْهِمْ بُيُوتَهُمْ»
English Translation
Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I considered ordering Bilal to call the iqamah for prayer, then I would go to people who hear the call but do not respond, and I would burn their houses down upon them.'
