Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9170 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَابَاهُ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «مَا يَهْزَأُ امْرٌؤٌ مُسْلِمٌ عَلَى أَيِّ حَالٍ أَصْبَحَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَأَمْسَى أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ حَزَازَةٌ فِي نَفْسِهِ»
English Translation
Abdullah said: "A Muslim man should not feel distressed about whatever condition of this world he finds himself in when he wakes or when he sleeps, as long as there is no resentment in his soul."
