Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9039 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ عَنْ قَيْسِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ لِلَّذِينَ تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ عَيْنٌ وَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ أُذُنٌ وَلَمْ يَخْطُرْ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي الْقُرْآنِ {فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِي لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ}
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: "It is written in the Torah: For those whose sides forsake their beds - what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has not occurred to the heart of any human being. And it is in the Quran: 'No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes.'"
