Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4462 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ «§أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ اسْمُهُ رَافِعُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ مِنْ بَنِي خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ»
English Translation
Wa'il ibn Hujr narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) cut off the hand of a thief who stole a shield worth less than a dinar. [Report about implementing the prescribed punishment.]
