English Translation
Husayn ibn 'Awf narrated through Ibn 'Abbas that he asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: 'My father is an old man who is obligated to perform Hajj but cannot travel except lying down. Shall I perform Hajj on his behalf?' He was silent for a while, then said: 'Perform Hajj on behalf of your father.'
