English Translation
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was a man who loved war. When al-Hasan was born, I intended to name him Harb, but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) named him al-Hasan. When al-Husayn was born, I intended to name him Harb, but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) named him al-Husayn. He (peace be upon him) said: "I named these two sons of mine after the two sons of Harun: Shabar and Shubayr."
