English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered the house of Fatimah, and she offered him a cooked shoulder of a sheep. He ate it, then stood up to pray. She took hold of his garments and said: "Will you not perform ablution, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "From what, O my daughter?" She said: "You have eaten what was touched by fire." He said: "The purest of your food is what has been touched by fire."
