Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11994 حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّشيطيُّ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «دِيَةُ الْمُكَاتَبِ قَدْرَ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ دِيَةُ الْحُرِّ وَمَا رَقَّ مِنْهُ دِيَةُ الْمَمْلُوكِ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: 'The blood money of the mukatab (partially freed slave) — for the portion he has freed, the blood money of a free person, and for the portion that remains enslaved, the blood money of a slave.'
