English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that a mukatab (partially freed slave) was brought before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: 'For the portion he has paid off from his contract, the blood money of a free person, and for the portion he has not paid, the blood money of a slave.'
