English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how is the ablution (wudu) performed?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) called for water for ablution. He washed his right hand three times, then put his hand in the vessel. Then he rinsed his mouth and nose three times each. Then he wiped his head and the outer parts of his ears along with his head. Then he washed his feet three times. Then he said: 'This is the ablution. Whoever does more than this has transgressed and done wrong.'
