Arabic (Original)
ناأَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، قَالَ: ناشَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدَةَ، عَنْعُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُوصٌ فِي نَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ".
English Translation
'Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection: reward and spoils of war."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عروہ بارقی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”گھوڑوں کی پیشانیوں میں قیامت تک کے لیے خیر معلق ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3603]
