Arabic (Original)
ناإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ، عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ صُدِعَ رَأْسَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاحْتَسَبَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ".
English Translation
Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah and seeks its reward from Allah — and Allah knows best who is truly wounded in His cause — he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound bleeding: its color will be the color of blood and its scent will be the scent of musk."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جو اللہ کی راہ میں زخمی ہو اور اجر کی نیت کرے، اللہ اس کے سارے پچھلے گناہ معاف فرما دیتا ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3602]
