Arabic (Original)
نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ:" ثَلاثٌ لا يُلْعَبُ بِهِنَّ، اللَّعِبُ فِيهِنَّ وَالْجِدُّ سَوَاءٌ: الطَّلاقُ، وَالنِّكَاحُ، وَالْعِتَاقُ".
English Translation
Abu al-Darda' said: "Three things are not to be trifled with — jest and seriousness are equal in them: divorce, marriage, and manumission (freeing a slave)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا:”تین چیزیں ایسی ہیں کہ ان میں مذاق نہیں: طلاق، نکاح اور غلام آزاد کرنا۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2782]
