Arabic (Original)
نا نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِيالْمُطَلَّقَةِ ثَلاثًا، وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجِهَا:" إِنَّهُمَا لا سُكْنَى لَهُمَا وَلا نَفَقَةَ، وَتَعْتَدَّانِ حَيْثُ شَاءَتَا، وَتَحُجَّانِ فِي عِدَّتِهِمَا إِنْ شَاءَتَا".
English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say regarding the woman divorced three times and the widow: "They have no right to housing or maintenance. They may observe their waiting period wherever they wish, and they may perform Hajj during their waiting period if they wish."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: طلاقِ ثلاثہ والی اور بیوہ عورت کے لیے نہ نفقہ ہے نہ رہائش، جہاں چاہیں عدت گزاریں اور چاہیں تو عدت میں حج کریں۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2540]
