وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " تعرض الأعمال يوم الاثنين والخميس، فأحب أن يعرض عملي وأنا صائم" ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن، ورواه مسلم بغير ذكر الصوم)).
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Deeds of people are presented (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays. So I like that my actions be presented while I am fasting.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'اعمال پیر اور جمعرات کو پیش کیے جاتے ہیں، مجھے پسند ہے کہ جب میرا عمل پیش ہو تو میں روزے سے ہوں۔'
