حدَّثناه أبو سهل أحمد بن محمد بن زياد النَّحْوي ببغداد وأبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب من أصل كتابه، قالا: حدثنا يحيى بن أبي طالب، حدثنا وَهْب بن جَرير، حدثنا شُعْبة، عن أبي إسحاق، عن البراء بن عازب قال: ذَكَرَ النبيُّ ﷺ المؤمنَ والكافرَ؛ ثم ذكر طرفًا من حديث القبر(3). فقد بانَ بالأصل والشاهد صحَّةُ هذا الحديث، ولعل متوهِّمًا يَتوهَّم أنَّ الحديث الذي:
English Translation
Abu Razin al-'Uqayli (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is faith?' He said: 'That you bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that you believe in all that has been decreed, whether sweet or bitter.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is Islam?' He said: 'That the Muslims be safe from your tongue and your hand, and that the emigrants (muhajirun) abandon what Allah has prohibited.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مومن اور کافر (کے احوال) کا تذکرہ فرمایا، پھر انہوں نے حدیثِ قبر کا کچھ حصہ بیان کیا۔پس اصل اور شاہد دونوں سے اس حدیث کی صحت واضح ہوگئی۔[المستدرك على الصحيحين/كتاب الإيمان/حدیث: 112]
