Narrated byfrom Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi
English Translation
Narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Guarding the frontier for a day in the cause of Allah is better than the world and everything in it. And the space in Paradise equal to a whip of one of you is better than the world and everything in it."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ جو شخص کھجور کے درخت کو تابیر کے بعد خریدے تو اس کا پھل بائع کو ملے گا مگر جب مشتری پھل کی شرط کر لے اور جو شخص غلام خریدے تو اس کا مال بائع کا ہو گا مگر جب مشتری شرط کر لے۔ (بائع بیچنے والا اور مشتری خریدنے والا ہوتا ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 923]
