English Translation
Narrated Umm al-Mu'minin A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) married me in Shawwal, and my consummation (departure to his home) also took place in the month of Shawwal. And which woman was dearer to the Messenger of Allah than me? A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to like that the women of her tribe have their consummation in the month of Shawwal. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 822]

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ سے شوال میں نکاح کیا اور ماہ شوال میں ہی میری رخصتی ہوئی اور کون سی عورت رسول اللہ کے پاس مجھ سے بڑھ کر پیاری تھی۔ اور عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا دوست رکھتی تھیں کہ ان کے قبیلہ کی عورتوں کی رخصتی ماہ شوال میں ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 822]
