English Translation
Narrated Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him, or to someone else, "Did you fast anything in the beginning of Shaban?" He said, "No." So he (peace be upon him) said, "When you break your fast (i.e., when you finish the month of Ramadan), then fast two days."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان سے یا کسی دوسرے سے فرمایا کہ کیا تم نے شعبان کے شروع میں کچھ روزے رکھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب تم افطار کر لو تو دو دن روزہ رکھو۔ (یعنی جب رمضان کے مہینے سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو دو روزے رکھنا)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 617]
