Narrated by'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar
English Translation
Narrated 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made obligatory the zakat al-fitr of Ramadan upon the people, a sa' of dates or a sa' of barley, upon every free person and slave, male and female, who is a Muslim.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے صدقہ فطر رمضان کے بعد لوگوں پر ایک صاع کھجور یا ایک صاع جو فرض کیا ہے ہر آزاد اور غلام مرد و عورت پر جو مسلمان ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 520]
